History of the church →

Friends of St James (FoSJ) is a secular charity whose purpose is to enable and finance the maintenance of the fabric of this lovely village church and to promote its use for the whole village community for a wide variety of events.

We raise money via donations from ‘Friends’ (that’s you hopefully), by running events and through securing grants from other organisations. Key projects have included installation of the heating system; construction of washroom and workspace facilities; re-opening of the North Door, renewal of the paths around the church and servicing of the bells.

But, there is still much to do, see Work to do.
